Patriots Day events are my favorite events and this was no exception.  Perfect spring weather.  9 wonderful students.  A handful of amazing instructors.
We had 5 students who were new to Appleseed!
We taught; students absorbed.  It was awesome.
History at lunch was awesome.  I think Patriots Day inspires us to make our history more inspiring to our students.  Jason (CalLefty) did an excellent job with the First Strike!!  Joe (eaglescouter) did a great job setting up the strikes.
Back to the line after lunch for more teaching.
We ended the day with the third strike.  Well done, Darryl (3Huzzahs)!

Sunday, we decided to switch things up and use the Parker's Revenge target instead of the hits count target.  It was a HIT!  Lots of teamwork.  Good job everyone!!
We were able to get an AQT before lunch.  Joe (eaglescouter) got the first Rifleman score of the day with a 212!  Bolt action Mossberg 44 (CMP purchase many years ago). During lunch the rest of the aqt's were scored.  Chayce was the first student Rifleman of the day...210!!  We had his wife, Rachel, do the honors of anointing him with the waters of the North Bridge.  Instructor Jason scored 220.  Then Danbing beat him with a 221, followed by a 211!!  Nice job everyone!
Chayce decided to join our amazing Appleseed team as an IIT0 and his wife, Rachel, is joining us as an Applecore!  Welcome!!

A wonderful weekend to celebrate not only the 20th anniversary of Project Appleseed, but to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Shot Heard Round the World.

Thanks to all who came out and made this a wonderful weekend.
Thanks also to all my wonderful instructors.  I couldn't do this without their help!

Here's some pictures that Jason took.
