Springtime in Texas, and a solid step forward to Building a Nation of Rifleman

23 shooters, several first time to actually touch a rifle, and by the end of the weekend, we had four new Riflemen, one new Orange Hat, two Instructor promotions, and everyone made great progress.

New Riflemen: Scott from Houston, Jeremy from College Station, Michael from Arlington, and Anand (I think from Austin).

New Orange Hat: Michael from Arlington (say congratulations and welcome aboard to MonocogMike).

Promotions: Ennfour to IIT1 (ask him how to select a forum name, it's unique); and a real hard charger, Gimley, who is one of our TrailLife shooters who started at age 11 six years ago, and is now adding a lot of forward momentum.

Special shoutout to Ralph Smith, who made significant progress towards IIT3.  Great job running the line and instruction on Sunday.
"The Second Amendment is a doomsday provision, one designed for those exceptionally rare circumstances where all other rights have failed — where the government refuses to stand for reelection and silences those who protest; where courts have lost the courage to oppose, or can find no one to enforce their decrees. However improbable these contingencies may seem today, facing them unprepared is a mistake a free people get to make only once."

I had a great time there. Learned a lot, and really enjoyed the heritage and history lessons.

Thanks a bunch to the awesome bunch who volunteered their time for us!
