The Cowlitz Public Shoot Range, in Castle Rock, WA, graciously provided their training room for an Instructor Boot Camp.  This location was chosen to provide a location that was between Portland and Seattle so instructors from both area could easily attend the event.

Fifteen instructors attended the event with a good number of IITs eager to learn and and a few RHs that were in need of a refresher of the new COI and instructional techniques.

I asked CaptainRebop and Iborche to assist with the instruction.  This was done as they are both looking to advance up the instructor ladder and I thought the experience would be good for them.   They are already very competent instructors and this reinforced the fact that they are ready for their next promotion.

Thanks for CaptainRebop, Iborche and BirdDog for being the small group leaders.  They did a great job leading the groups and keeping the IBC on track.  All of the small group session was conducted according to the new Appleseed Academy standards.

Everyone like the History Drill on Sunday.  Everyone did really well in the presentation of their stories and the audience got to hear a lot of new history stories (which everyone enjoys).

Thanks to everyone that helped clean up the facility and leave it in better shape then we showed up.  This was a very successful event and I am looking forward to the next one.

Thanks Prescott for running a great event!

What a solid group of instructors we have here in the PNW.  We all came in a little rusty, and we all left the event with a lot more polish - just in time to run 2 simultaneous Patriots Day events in WA  :F

And the history!  If you've ever worked with me you know I can get a little emotional. I had to hide in the back corner so y'all couldn't see me lose it.  You folks really care, and it really shows. Thanks for bringing the passion.

I look forward to seeing you all on the line!

Thank you to all of you for setting this up travelling all the way to make it happen, and providing excellent guidance and instruction as always. And thank you to all the other participants for coming out and making it a great IBC! You guys are going to knock it out of the park and do a couple of epic liberty seeds worthy of the event and history! Wish I could join you!
