Hurlburt Fields first pistol clinic of 2025. The weather was as good as it gets with temperatures around 70 and overcast, it was perfect for shooting.

We had six patriots on the firing line, one came all the way from Pittsburgh PA. We started the day with some great history of our founders and why we should honor them for their sacrifices and all the liberty it provides us.

We started the instruction with safety and a quick demo of safe handling of pistols and moved on to grip and stance. When we got to the hits count target it was clear we had some experienced shooters on the line. We had a smooth pace and everyone made great progress throughout the weekend. Marci went from a 111 to 162, Alan from 150 to a 170, David from 100 to 159, John C. from 155 to a 198 and John S. from 183 to 212. Kenneth's health only allowed him 1/2 days but he made the most of his time with us. I wish you the best and hope to see you on the firing line again soon.

I want to thank Hurlburt Field Rifle and Pistol Club for their continued support of Project Appleseed.

This was a great event!  All shooters made great progress!  CONGRATS John on earning your Pistoleer™ patch!

What a great weekend to learn basic pistol handling and becoming a marksman. Everyone enjoyed the big dot, little dot exercise. Congratulations John on getting your Pistoleer™ patch.
