We had a beautiful fall weekend for a Appleseed at a location very close to where it all happened.  Thanks to Mansfield Fish & Game for their continued support.  We had a sold out event with 21 shooters, including 15 first timers and 6 kids aged 10-14.  We minted two new riflemen, congrats to Alan 224 and Joseph 220.  The first time Joseph had ever fired a rifle in his life was Saturday morning. Bill re-qualified with a high of 236 and has accepted a Blue Hat to help as he can.  We also had Brian, a member of Mansfield F&G step up and volunteer with a Blue Hat.  The other shooters persisted and showed awesome improvement for the weekend. James, Patrick, Domenic, Archie, Fallon and Annabel received their William Dimond patches because the were safe, attentive, and hung in there the whole weekend.  Great job and you are welcome back to the line anytime. The early sunsets of 4:24 and 4:21pm put some urgency in our instruction but we made it work. I also must say the history was awesome at this event.  Every instructor contributed and we had a very engaged group to hear the stories.  Pics to follow.
