Beaver Falls and Building appleseed in Western Pa
« on: April 24, 2009, 01:51:38 PM »
While I had the time of my life last weekend, No sense resting on our Patriot's Day laurels for too long.  I thought I would start a post about:

1. Looks like next Pa event is Beaver Falls. Who is going? I have been promoting it individually, but I am willing to help more.

2. Anyone nearby interested in an afternoon mini at my place near Slippery Rock? maybe late May?

3. any other members in the area north of Pittsburgh (Armstrong, Butler, Mercer, Crawford). There are two of us promoting and shooting together in the Slippery Rock/Grove City area. A third would be most welcome.

4. Shoot dates for the Slippery Rock DAR? Sooner we can set a date, the sooner I can get commited shooters. Shoot bosses, IIT's let me know.

Respectfully,

Cowdog

I will be there as an IIT, but as it is a 6 hour drive I doubt I will come down before the shoot.

I as well will be there as an IIT.  I'm 5.5 hours away so unfortunately I won't be able to help beforehand either.

Yesterday my cousin (Who attended Appleseed with me) came out to shoot some AQT's I copied. While we were shooting, another friend came with his 9 year old son to get a load of sheep manure for their garden. We handed them our rifles and got them to try the AQT. Both tried for the 400 targets and made a couple hits. Bottom line is They are joining us next Sunday afternoon  for a "mini mini"  :~
(maybe an hour or so) There will only be four of us (so far) but anyone on the board is welcome. PM me for directions.

I am only 35 miles from Beaver Falls. If there is ground work needed (besides promotion), let me know.
