Looking forward to this!

We didn't do a shoot at McLean last year, and it shows in the pre-regs.

29 out of 30 spots filled.

We've got room for 35, so if you know someone, tell them to walk on.

BRING SHADE - pop up canopies and such.  We'll have some there already, but I'd like to have the firing line covered, as well as some clustered in the back for breaktime / history.

We'll have water and gatorade there.

See you in 8 days.

Quick Followup,

Looking at the directions/aerial view, any small details on getting to the range? I think I have a good jist of the general location.

Also, what time do you want Instructors to arrive Sat? Ill be driving in that morning and don't want to be late.

Thanks

7:30 am is fine for arrival.

Quick and dirty directions:  Get to McLean, IL.  Go east on 136 a mile and a half or so.  Turn south on Waynesville Road.  About 3 miles down (ish) turn east on Rodeo Road.  About a half mile down, the range entrance will be on your right.

I usually try to get there first.  I post a Rev War flag at the corner of Waynesville Road and 136, and I post another flag at the corner of Waynesville Road and Rodeo Road.  I post a third one at the gate to the range.

Don't let the fact that the gate to the range appears to lead to a deserted woods and pasture area throw you off.  Follow the grass road a hundred feet or so, and you will be able to see the range setup.

See you then!

I'm driving in too from Chicago area.
Are people staying locally overnight? I have not decided /arranged any lodging .

The only local local hotel is Super 8 in McLean.  That's where I'm staying.  Decent room, usually under $100.

About a 15-20 minute drive north of McLean, you can find Bloomington - Normal hotels.  I've stayed at the Hawthorne Suites before, but I don't know what their current price is.
