Well, that was a great shoot!  On behalf of myself, Peter, and Kjell, I would like to thank all of you for taking the time out of your busy schedules to improve your marksmanship and work on becoming better Americans.  Your country, and future generations, need you and your care.
I would like to thank the Western Montana Fish & Game Association for donating a bay on their fantastic facility for an entire weekend for our use.
The weather was nearly perfect with enough clouds to keep the eye burning sun at bay, even if it did torture some of us constantly switching from sunglasses to clear, and a momentary threat of rain just to remind us to be prepared.
All our youth shooters did fantastically, especially young Matthias who fired his first live round ever!  The Hedstrom gang is always a joy.  We had a few adult first time Appleseeders who did some great shooting.  It is always a joy for us instructors to see the look of joy on new shooters' faces as the lightbulb goes off as marksman or heritage points are realized.
We had three Riflemen requalify, Mathew, Josh, and Ravi.  It is amazing how once one masters the 6 steps and becomes a Rifleman how the skills stay with you.  Thank you to Mathew for taking on an Orange Hat!  We all look forward to seeing you on-the-line and your storytelling!
Thank you, Lori and Cole, Rachael and Blake, and Ingo and Travis for traveling as far as you did to join us.
A heads up, next year will mark the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Lexington and Concord and the 19th falls on a Saturday!  We will have a special shoot here in Missoula and I hope to see all of you!  Until then, we shoots scheduled here in September and a Winterseed in December so you can learn the joy of shooting in the cold!
Again, thank you shooters for providing a safe and fun event.
