Aim big? Heck yeah. Let's do an AS at Ben Avery for April 17-18, 2010

And let's get that 1000 yard range on Sunday.

Avery has a HUGE firing line on the small bore range, and we're gonna need it if our intent is to double AS attendance every April 19th.

Heck, Fred wants us to quadruple attendance every April 19th event!  We're gonna need Avery AND at least 1 more range for that.

Arizona has yet to incorporate a long range component to an Appleseed... Avery is the only range I currently know of that can accomodate such an event, and given the difficulty in getting an event scheduled at this facility we need to start right now.

I will pick up an event application on Friday prior to heading out to Sierra Vista.

As for a second (or even third?) event for that weekend... We've got to get back to Payson.  And having a matching event at Sierra Vista for the southern AZ folks would sure be good, too.

All you AZ IIT's right now:

We're gonna need each of you to be Red Hats by this time next year, if this is to happen.  We'll need a minimum of 2 Red Hats for Avery (1 smallbore, 1 high power range), 1 for Payson and 1 for Sierra Vista.  Plus some new faces to help as well.

Paperwork submitted last week on Friday... we won't hear anything until around August, though.

Just for later FYI (and FMI  ), we have to get a 2010 liability form since our insurance expires on the current form in Feb.
