On this day, March 2, in 1836 the brave leaders of the Texas Independence movement delivered a declaration of freedom to the people of Texas.  The signing of the Texas Declaration of Independence from Mexico occurred at a small cabin at a location know as "Washington on the Brazos".  The people of Texas now stood as a proud nation, free from tyranny's grasp.
