Despite all of the doom and gloom predictions of torrential rain for the entire weekend we were blessed with good weather both days, there was a few minutes of heavy mist on Saturday and bouts of wind both days but that was it. It is a shame that 6 shooters did not show on Saturday (one was sick) and a total of 12 did not show on Sunday which left us with 6 for the day. Those six benefitted with almost one on one instruction. The shooters that did make the shoot one or both days showed great improvement and promise. Congratulations to my close friend Ryan who shot his rifleman score on Sunday's last AQT. Also my friend Tracy did great for her first time being behind a rifle. I look forward to April's shoot and seeing friends and others that have signed up already. All and all it was a great shoot.
A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks.

You said it, great weather and enjoyed seeing an attendee earn his rifleman!
