We need volunteers in sales, marketing, PR, IT, and general "running of an organization."
Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots
on the firing line!  An hour of time spent at this level can have the impact of ten or a
hundred hours on the firing line.  Want to help? Send a PM to Monkey!

This shoot was a great success in my mind with a number of new and returning rifleman, shooters that arrived early on Saturday to help setup the range for the Appleseed event and those that stayed Sunday afternoon and helped cleanup and return the range to its pistol configuration. The history and marksmanship training were well received. As far as shooting is concerned we had Howard as a standout shooter attending his second Appleseed and scoring a 244 followed up by a 242 and a number of AQT's in the 230 range. Howard, congratulations on your great shooting. Congratulations to our new Rifleman, Tony and and our requalifying shooters. The downside to the shoot was the very hot temperatures both days, mid to high 90's both days without a cloud in sight. I believe the high temp's caused a fall off in scores on Sunday afternoon. Again I would like to thank the shooters that attended along with the team I had the honor of working with. I hope to see all of you at the events for 2024 that will be posted soon. Norm
A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks.
