Well it was actually fairly cool for a change. Thought I'd never see a day with the temps less than 100.

GloBull warming y'all. Just ask Greta.

And it was a good shoot as is usually the case in Waco. A bit fewer people than usual but - quality citizens.

We had a bunch of young men out to learn the craft of rifle marksmanship. And thanks y'all. As I've always seen in the past, and saw this weekend, this country is not done for regardless of what you may read in the news. I suppose that's why I'm still doing shoots - because meeting my fellow countrymen gives me hope. Meeting those people that come out gives my spirit a boost when it's feeling low. It's funny how I'll wake up on a Saturday morning at O'Dark thirty and ask myself what in the heck am I doing this for? And drive the two hours to Waco which I didn't want to do. And listen to the radio with all the Pfizer and CDC commercials for RSV, FLU, and newest COVID shot and how we're all gonna die. And how the world is going to hell in a handbasket.

But when I get to Waco and meet everybody the drive there and getting up before I should is all worth it. Good people. We're not done for yet.

We had lovely weather in the 80s. Humid as heck but not 105. And a small crowd of GREAT people. We had 4 kids from 7 to 12. And their attitude was so good. Being as some were small and had a hard time we had lots of young men on sandbags.

And as usual people did learn and improve. What more do you want?
And Texas has a NEW REDHAT!!!! Big Tony - thank you sir. You'll grow into to be a fine RedHat. YeeHah!!!

We gave out one patch and had another within 5 points. However that's not the entire mission. We're here to spread the word, tell some stories, and have some fun. Which is exactly what we accomplished.
