A sold out event in beautiful Damariscotta, Maine for Patriot's Day is a great day.
16 Americans worked on marksmanship and heritage.  Six left with a rifleman patch.  All improved.
Two picked up a rifle for the first time ever on Saturday morning and scored within sniffing distance of a rifleman score by Sunday evening.
An instructor in period garb, fresh from the reenactments down south in Massachusetts, started us off with the first strike and we went from there into a great weekend.
