KD - New Braunfels TX, April 15-16, 2023

Pretty good known distance shoot in New Braunfels over this weekend. We had seven total shooters and one new KD Rifleman. Huzzah Joseph (Ghost_of_ Kosciusko)! Way to go with a 200 on the only AQT we completed Saturday ! Saturday was HOT--in the mid 90s, but after a cold front came through Saturday night, we had an awesome, if not windy, Sunday. Highs in the mid 70s and low humidity. What a beautiful day! We performed the Patriots' Day ceremony Sunday morning, and it was a very solemn event. Participants really liked the new shirts and patches as well.

Congratulations to Josh for winning the target distance estimation exercise! Great job !

We went on to complete three more AQTs on Sunday with Leo getting extremely close to a Rifleman score! He had to leave at lunch, though  , so he wasn't in on the last two courses of fire. He'll be back (said in my best Arnold Schwarzenegger)!

We finished up the day shooting an AR500 silhouette for bragging rights. Josh and Two Wolves did fantastic at it! I believe both had 6 out of 10 hits, but I might be one off . A lot of fun to wrap up the day!
