New Mexico Issues Grant for Otero County Shooting Range

Last fall I was approached by the Range Master at the Sidney Paul Gordon Shooting Range in La Luz, Otero County New Mexico.  This range has been hosting us since 2008!

Range Master Mark Douglas requested that Project Appleseed write a letter of support for a grant application that would allow the range to build new bays, upgrade existing bays, and extend the current 360yd bay out to 400 yards. (can anyone say Known Distance?)

Today we learned that this grant application was APPROVED!  Huzzah!  We hope our contribution to their application was an instrumental component in its success.
