This past weekend, eight Appleseeders gathered just north of Seattle, Washington for the first Shoot Boss Camp of the year!

We were hosted by Kenmore Shooting Range.  If you haven't been to this range, it's a fantastic facility.  Their management is very supportive of Project Appleseed.  Martin was a wonderful host and lent us his indoor small bore shooting facility for the weekend.

Our group included Appleseeders from Washington and Idaho and included very seasoned Shoot Bosses through those aspiring to don the green hat.  The neat thing about having such a broad range of perspectives is that everyone in the room was able to learn from their fellow attendees.  O0

During the two days we spent together, we discussed leadership, history, our Mission, and the art of Shoot Bossing.  We dedicated some time to Ball & Dummy, a drill critical to success as a Rifleman.  Of course, we spent plenty of time practicing to teach Known Distance!

I really want to thank everyone who took the time to attend.  It was a pleasure working with each of you.  It's obvious the future of the Pacific Northwest is bright knowing that instructors of your caliber are becoming Shoot Bosses.

My special appreciation to:  First, GTEngineer who helped line up the facility for us and made the weeked so easy.  Second, Prescott from Idaho who reallyrecommend meal solutions (we've all gotta eat!)  Thank you so much!   ^:)^

Applecore photography professional Nimitz (Sam) came out and snapped some pictures for us.

I wish I had his talent.  And frankly, these scaled down pics don't do the originals justice.

Thanks, Sam, for coming out!   O0 O0 O0
