Saturday 10 pistol shooters arrived to start the journey to improving their skills, vision to Pistoleer™s, along with hearing history and heritage.  Their journey proved to be eventful for all our shooters. From the opening Red Coat, the instructor team could see great things ahead for the weekend.  The attitude & attention showed what the progress would be for weekend.

Saturday was a morning filled new ideas, techniques, and practice drills. Demonstrations, hands on SIRT laser pistols gave each shooter feel for live fire experience. This showed to be very beneficial for the weekend.

Our shooters consisted of a mix of experience from skilled to less experienced.  Our first Pistoleer™s of the weekend went to Josh at a 240 and Pete at 232, but on Sunday they continued didn't stop. Josh (looking for that 250) repeated with higher scores: 232/240/232/242/241/242.  Pete with his 9mm searching for only a 210, turned in a 216 & 221.  Great work from both of these fine Pistoleer™s.  Before we broke for lunch our newest Orange hat Dustin (ChefRedCoat76) took an opportunity of open position to shoot and turned in a 222 for his Pistoleer™ patch.

Our "less experienced" were no longer.  From the first struggle at the red coat, the grips improved, the stance were molded, the trigger press smoothed out.  Shots went from shot gun to great groups.

By PQT time scores started at 117 to improvement up to 206. Most finishing from 180 to a few in the 200 range just couldn't turn the corner to get that 210 and above.  As said at the good bye's: "we'll be back" .  Looking forward to it.

Red Coat hits count from first day to final on Sunday, showed how the group improved.   From Max of 4 hitting only up to the 60 yd, to all hitting up to 100 yd.  Our final tally of clearing the red coat to finish the weekend were three: Josh, Rich, and our club member John with an impressive clean of red coat and great center hit on the button.  Congratulations.

History and heritage opened a few moments of history of what it was to be a colonial, establishing our liberty & freedom to have such an event.

Saturday ended with Meadow sharing a few mementos from his Heritage dating back to 1876 history book from great grand father schooling.  Benediction with impact of how fortunate we are to have the freedom to participate in an event like this. This is fragile and we all need to engage.

Our speed target (shot timer) got a huge number of different techniques.  From slow & steady, to slap the trigger.  Ending with dead eye Josh followed by "slap the trigger" Grady.  Great event.

Sunday morning Mother Nature decided to give us a white blanket of snow.  First accumulation in many months.  Our long-distance travelers were a little nervous, but the vision of Pistoleer™ was in their future.

Oh, Our long-distance travelers to Oak Harbor in Northwest Ohio.  Cincinnati, OH; Kalamazoo, MI; Youngstown, OH, Columbus, OH (area); and Oregon, OH.

Thanks to Oak Harbor Conservation Club (OHCC) for this great indoor facility.

The team of instructors that made this a SAFE enjoyable weekend. Slowbutsure, Slow and Steady, Wrangler, ChefRedCoat76, B.T.O and Chico. Great teamwork, Thank You.

Thanks to BTO keeping the flow of target changes organized.

Special thanks to: CHICO.  His Pistol instruction, endless organization, keeping things running on schedule, building set up & tear down were extremely over the top help along with organization of the hot meals and help from one of our support Pistoleer™s, Kassie. THANK YOU.

Sounds like a great event, making me wish I had cleared my schedule to come up there. Congratulations to the new Pistoleer™s!
Our task is to deal with the dust, but not to burn down the house in order to remove it.

Attended as a shooter. EXCELLENT class. Those breaks in mental concentration cost me the patch because the coaching was on par !! Dialed in my weaknesses and mental lapses to where two were withing a flyer of having make the grade. Much different than the tactical/ccw 9" pie plate does it shooting I have been practicing. Will IT/RSO a few and definitely shoot a few...took 3 times for the Rifleman Orange hat....maybe 2nd time is the charm here? I would HIGHLY recommend this crew for anyone looking for pistol skills training. Very safe. Very supportive. Extremely passionate.

It took a little time to gather all the pictures.  Three photographers shared their pics.
