On a cold and Windy Weekend, Five Shooters attended the Project Appleseed 25m Event at the City of Albuquerque Shooting Park.  The weather started nice on Saturday, and turned cold and windy on Sunday.  We kept a good pace of teaching topics and telling history on Saturday.  While practicing Stage 1 on the Green Coat Target we had a little competition.  Highest score won a PayDay Candy Bar. Two min were put on the clock and the shooting started.  We taught Students how to score the Target and Jeff won the PayDay Candy Bar with a score of 41.  Saturday before calling it for the day we got to an AQT.  All the Students scored were above 120.  We ended Saturday with the Red Coat and no bayonets were received. 
Sunday brought a little warmer temps, but with it came the wind.  Students endured sustained wind in the high 20 MPH range and gusts up to the mid 30's MPH range.  The day continued with a Known Distance Presentation and more AQT's.  AQT Scores were in the 150 to 175 range, great scores from these five students.  The wind and cold slowly wore out the Student's and Cadre.  We ended the day with a Red Coat Target.  It was a good weekend.  We look forward to seeing these students again at future Appleseed Events.  We only had one appearance of a Vicious Sage Brush that attacked a Student.
