The mid-coast Appleseed event was blessed with fine weather and a great group of Americans.
20 minutes of rain marred a warm, sunny weekend, and that didn't bother or slow anyone down.

The range at Damariscotta is just off the downtown area of this pretty village.  The name means "abundance of fish" in Algonquin, but this is the oyster capital of Maine.

We had eight on the line, including one first time Appleseed attendee that had a vague idea what he was about. Every AQT was a high rifleman score, including one target with six shots missing due to malfunction!  I held out hope that a 250 patch would find a home.  He topped out at 247.

Our 12 year old lad cleaned a redcoat, giving us all hope for the future.....

All the shooters improved and we had lively discussions regarding April 19.
All in all, a great time.
