Subject: Adaptive Appleseed - limited use of one hand.
Pistol: Smith & Wesson Victory (SW22) with aftermarket parts + red dot
As of this writing - the course of fire is defined:
Stage 1 - 1 target (10 shots in 10 seconds/1 mag of 10 rounds)
Stage 2 - 2 targets (2 mags/loaded 6 and 4) 15 seconds
(Alternating pairs on alternating targets with mag change)
Stage 3 - 1 target (5 shots - 15 seconds/left hand only)
Stage 4 - 1 target (5 shots - 15 seconds/right hand only)
Stage 5 - 4 targets (2-2-3-3/2 minutes @2X point value)
The only points to adapt are two areas: limited to one hand and the brace on my right hand - which has a secured high strength magnet on the backside of the fist. Once the pistol has the mag ejected... I turn the pistol to a horizontal position with the muzzle still pointing downrange in a safe direction and place the steel portion of the slide
secured onto the magnet.

In this orientation - the position mimics the same oriention as a right-handed shooter with access to the magwell "in the shooter's workspace" - inserting from the left side into the magwell. Once the magazine is reseated into the pistol; I re-acquire a good pistol grip with my left hand, pivot, and lift the pistol off the magnetic brace back to a normal vertical alignment and drop the slide/bolt release with my trigger finger since its already out of the trigger guard before I re-aquire the target.
First PQT - Sunday morning (no warm up)

Part 1

Part 2

227/250
Was somewhat surprised did not score all hits on that stage #4 ... 4 hits on second target. Oh well.
Full disclaimer: have been shooting with a local Bullseye pistol league for a number of years; thousands of rounds live fire, refining the process within firing the shot with an airsoft pistol, and dry fire practice.
Practice does pay off when there is a concentrated focus... a common aspect to adaptives!
