   I just wanted to put this out on the Appleseed wire that Clay Cherry (Tejas) has answered the call by earning his Green Hat this past weekend in Kerrville, TX.  Clay skillfully instructed a group of 20 students through his SBIT3 weekend resulting in 4 new Rifleman and 2 requalifications.  Two of the four new Rifleman were first time Appleseeders!!!  The weather was a huge challenge for our shooters, but Clay helped navigate the situation and put all resources to good use in aiding instruction.  The students never dropped interest or disengaged from the day's challenge.  It was great to see Clay accept his Green Hat and lead us through the end of Sunday's events with such energy and vigor.  Appleseed is certainly lucky to draw from your leadership sir!
