Another successful if small Appleseed for El Paso.
Only 8 shooters and no riflemen but everyone made very strong inprovement.
and everyone will be back with us in 2 weeks at EPCC.
Today produced a 1 day shooter, fast learner and with the help of WestTx ministrations he was knocking on the door by lunchtime.  Another strong shooter ended his day at 206, he'll be back with us at EPCC and make rifleman teh 1st day.
The surprise of the weekend was a family of four, Army Dad, Mom (Appleseed was the family's birthday present for her) and 2 sons.  The youngest at 12 was big enough to handle an adult rifle, payed close attention, was remarkably safe and a lot of fun.  No riflemen in the family yet but alla re coming back to EPCC in 2 weeks.
Mom is going to be the first rifleman in the family.

This was the most enthusiastic bunch of shooters I have run into in a long time.

Trailblazer, SamD and I were definitely impressed with the enthusiasm of the attendees. Informal polling of the attendees indicated they came because of seeing us at the Feb EPCC shoot and the work of a couple of CHL instructors.
The attendees included the Army family, a High School football coach's son, a lawyer, a retired school speech therapist.
