I wanted to thank the outstanding instructors for putting on the Appleseed in Kinsport, TN 3/09. Great instruction, great history, and couldn't ask for a better group of people. I am a CMP and NRA instructor (and now a rifleman!), and have never seen a better and safer run line than they oversaw that weekend. Once my work schedule allows, I'm going to dive in and get this thing going in my state (Maryland). To anyone on the fence regarding attending one, DO IT!  BeSwift

With your permission, BeSwift, I'd like to copy your post to share with some of the dismissive NRA instructors I've run into while talking to people at our gun show booth.

I am a lifetime member of NRA (or will be very soon) and I'm always careful to avoid saying anything that might come across as "ours is better than yours" because I do respect all the NRA has done for us for so many years, but I have to admit that I get real tired of Appleseed being dismissed as a bunch of "less than" amateurs.
