This last weekend at Manistee was fantastic.  We had three registered shooters and two walk on shooter show up to celebrate our heritage as Americans.  We had sunny weather, high temps, but a shaded range so life was good.   All our shooters were amazing to work with, improved in their marksmanship, and had a willingness to learn new things.

Congratulations to Seth for shooting not one, but three, rifleman scores (211, 216, 226) and to Pete for shooting a requalifying score of 211.  Special shout out to Mike, whose skills improved significantly over the weekend and whose willing attitude is an example to all.  Wayne and Cilas you two are knocking on the door of a rifleman's score.  Hang in there!  You'll get it done!

Special thanks to the Manistee Muzzle Loading Club for hosting us.  It is always a pleasure to come your range each year.  Thank you also to Hank for his very educational Revolutionary War muzzle loading presentation and allowing the students to shoot Revolutionary War type muzzle loaders.  Thank you to 3.Dogs and Pookie for making the long drive to Northern Michigan to instruct.  You guys made it all happen.
