Beautiful weather day to remember our history and learn some marksmanship skills.

Great turn out for the sold out event in IL. 26 showed up with 13 under 18! We ended the weekend with 4 re-qualifying and 4 new rifleman!!! Congrts to all those the worked hard and improved.
Had some fun shoots and gave away some prizes, told some good stories but most importantly the message was heard about not letting our rights that were fought so hard for waste away.

Thanks to the ISRA to hosting us and to Shooter 3006, AK, Rev. 357 and Sis for coming out helping out and to Warrior Poet for taking up the charge of becoming an orange hat!!!!! Huzzah!

It is rare that the weather is so nearly perfect for an entire weekend, but this Patriot's event was exactly that.  It was great to see so many young patriots at this event.  Illinois has been blessed with some of the best instructors in the country.  Chewy, Shooter 30-06 and AK were once again at the top of their game, and it was especially nice to see Sis and Rev 357 after such a long time.  I hope everyone realizes how much time and effort these volunteers put in to provide us with so much knowledge and inspiration. Congratulations to the new riflemen perservering thru to that goal, especially Mike on making it the
"even dozen" on the final AQT.  All-in-all  this was the best of weekends.

This was a great Patriots Day Shoot!  Congratulations to all our new Riflemen and those who re-qualified. As always, was great to work along side Chewie, Shooter 30-06, Sis, and Rev. I am attaching my pictures.
