Hello,

I recently picked up the Benjamin Marauder pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) air rifle.

I'm getting 20 good shots per fill.  I'm using the Hill pump with the moisture filter to fill it.  Now that I finally have the scope placement figured out it is shooting very well.

500 Crosman pellets is under $7!

I shot a 2 MOA group at 25M slung up in prone.

I will post pics when I figure out how to reduce their size.
Last evening, it occurred to me that when a defender of Liberty is called home, their load lands upon the shoulders of the defenders left behind. Just as the Founders did their duty for Liberty, every subsequent generation must continue their work lest Liberty perish. As there is no way for the remaining adults to take on the work of those that die, we must pass the ideals and duties on to the children. -PHenery

Not Sure

Better quality pellets have helped me a great deal with shrinking groups.  I rebuilt a Daisy 853 I bought from the CMP a while back.  I was excited to test it out after replacing seals and improving the trigger.  My first test was with Cosman Premier Hollow Points.  I was nearly beside myself after all that work to find it wouldn't group well at 10 yards and that the velocity from shot to shot was all over the place.

Then I remembered some RWS R10 10m match pellets I had laying around.  Could they make a difference?  The variation in velocity dropped and groups shrank to where I was very happy with my rifle.

I suggest round nose JSB or Air Arms pellets.  They will cost about double the Crosman, but they will be well worth it.  Something in the 13-16 grain weight will probably be good.

Took my .22 cal M-ROD out last week and shot a full AQT (fast mode). I was able to do 222. I haven't shot it all winter here in NW Iowa. Am having good luck with Benjamin Discovery 14.3 gr hollow point. Unfortunately, my house range is only 22 yd. I am able to get 40 rounds (plus) on one  full tank.

Sorry it took so long to post pics.  I changed scopes to get a reticle easier to so accurate hold overs with.  The other pic is testing the scope by shooting a box with it.   It appears repeatable.  It ia a Center Point 3-12x with the MOA reticle.  It looks a on clearance foe $89 at Walmart.  The Crosman pellets shoot well enough for what I do.  I have a 1/2 size KD target and mow that I have my come ups I practice my 100 yard off hand with it.
