Amazing shooters and a tremendous crew, add in pleasant weather and a marvelous facility and a Patriot's Day weekend to remember occurs!
A small but talented group of shooters turned out to Cavalier Rifle and Pistol Club for our Patriots weekend shoot.  Due to a scheduling conflict the Shoot Boss duties were shared by Monkey and myself so I will only report on the first day and a half.  Many thanks to Monkey for covering for me.  We had a couple of "ringers" looking for that special patch and some great effort by the rest of the shooters with 5 of our original 11 scoring Rifleman!  Special kudos to first time Appleseeder, Pam who having had limited rifle experience, started with quite small groups and got even better , scoring Rifleman on day 1!  Congrats to Jeff and Brian on achieving Rifleman as well and kudos to "repeat offenders" >:D, Derek chasing a "Distinguished" patch and Matt claiming one with a best of his scores (all Distinguished) of 248!  This effort was supported by a great crew that always make the Shoot Boss look good:  Instructors: Misawa, Dangerous Cook, BadFishey, RockHead; IITs: Aurelian and Pike; and my "partner in crime" taking a day of the Shoot Boss duties: Monkey.  This group works so well together it is always a pleasure.
