Jonesville, Va April 17 AAR

Our Jonesville Va Patriots Day shoot was blessed with good weather and fantastic students! We started out our 1day event with a sold out shoot and 2 walk-ons. Weather was cool and cloudy for April but warmed up by the afternoon. One student had to cancel due to illness but with 16 shooters it was still a full line.
BrotherPilot came down from his end of the state to lend a hand and tell us the First Strike. Border Raider BoltGunBill did a great job with his second strike during lunch and another border raider, CarrollMS, brought it all together for us with Third Strike.
Morning RedCoats showed decent skill with room to improve(always) . Well done to John and Victoria for marked improvement through the day.
We had 7 youth shooters who persevered and shot the entire event with a lot of improvement shown. Well done yall!
Even with the one day format, we were able to beat the time monkey and get to 2 AQTs by the end of the day. HUZZAH to the other instructors who made this possible! There were several students who at least had the spirit of riflemen if not the scores , staying for a couple hrs after the event to persevere and shoot a 210. HUZZAH to yall.
A huge thanks to the instructors (and students) who made a long drive to participate in this event!
Huzzah to Nathan for his 219 and welcome BACK to the program . Nathan was an orange hat at my very first appleseed event I attended. He has taken up his orange hat again to finish his rd to instructor! So excited to have you back with us!
Thank you everyone for your engagement through the day. That's the Spirit of Patriotism that we are hoping to reinvigorate in our nation.
