What a fantastic weekend for an Appleseed! The December Florida weather didn't disappoint. This is the weather folks move to Florida for. Lows in the low 50s, the highs in the low to mid 70s, and sun, sun, sun.

We had a fine group of patriots turn out for this event. Several repeat Appleseeder's and some new faces. Always fun to catch up with old friends and make new ones. We had three family units on the line this weekend. Two groups of father and sons and a trio of a Mom, Dad, and Daughter.

The marksmanship was fantastic this weekend! New folks, new to shooting were out of boot camp with respectable scores. We had John, a new appleseeder shoot score and earn his Rifleman patch this weekend and then we had Kevin S. a repeat appleseeder chasing a distinguished score. Kevin has been persistent in his quest and on this weekend he was successful and shot a 241! HUZZAH! Well done John and Kevin.

Well done everyone! You made this a very enjoyable shoot and your persistence paid off. I hope to see you all again at an event soon!
