I've been saying for a while I would run a shooting contest JUST for the Florida Cadre Instructors and Core.
It is payed for using the excess donations from the Cadre Patches.
The proposed outline for the contest is located on the Friends FLORIDA 'SEED INSTRUCTOR CADRE group page.

OFFICIAL RULES FLORIDA INSTRUCTOR CADRE SHOOT.

Best AQT scored between June 27th and October 19th.

Prizes only for FLORIDA Instructor Cadre (blue, orange, red , green.... you get the idea)

The AQT has to be attested to and dated by another Red Hat or better.

The AQT does not have to be shot in Florida, but must be signed by RED HAT.

Hi-res picture must be submitted to the Florida Cadre Instructors FBook Page.

CENTERFIRE ONLY

LESS than 30cal minus-10 points and No F-in 30 cal rule

Targets should be shot at 25 meters or KD. Targets at 25 yards minus-5 points.

AQT's shot on electronic targets must include V count s for tie breaker.

Can be shot at non official events as long as witnessed and signed by RED HAT.

WINNER a super New Greenstar Products 1-Star OD Shooting Jacket custom made to size.

Example #1 If you shoot your Garand at KD and score 220 your score is 220

Example #2 If you shoot your Garand at 25m and score 220 your score for this contest is 215 (-5 pt 25m)

Example #3 If you shoot your poodle shooter at KD and score 220 your score for this contest is 210 for this contest (-10 pt PS)

Example #4 If you shoot your poodle shooter at 25m and score 220 your score for this contest is 205 for this contest (-10pt PS, -5pt 25m)

I hope this makes the math easier for some of you. (I've seen you score targets---very painful too watch)
