Certificate for CMP M1 purchase

I'm not sure where to post this.  My sons and I attended an Appleseed in Battle Creek last summer.  One of my sons now wants to get an M1 from CMP.  Is it possible that he can still get an Appleseed cert for the marksmanship requirement?

Ideally, I would rather we nail down the location and date so we can ID the shoot boss for the event.  That way we're not asking someone to sign something without all the facts.

Do you recall where and when that was?
