Need your Appleseed Fix? Come to Wyoming!!
« on: April 23, 2020, 10:43:36 PM »
Are you looking to get on the line and brush off you Rifleman’s skills? Or were you hoping to get a couple of extra events to become a volunteer instructor or move up a couple of levels?

Our next shoot in Colorado is a rimfire known distance (KD) event in Boulder on May 23. This is a more advanced one-day-only event, and you really need to attend a normal two-day Appleseed before heading to the KD.

So what to do? The events up in Wyoming are not getting cancelled. Their Patriot’s Day Appleseed took place as scheduled in April AND they more shoots scheduled over the next few weeks.

Casper - May 09-10
Cheyenne - May 16-17

Both of these events still have plenty of space on the line and they’re close to Colorado. I am planning to attend both of these events and would encourage you to give them a look.

Hope to see you on the line - Captain

Don't forget about the Douglas, WY IBC and RBC in June.
In giving us dominion over the animal kingdom, God has signified His will that we subdue the beast within ourselves.
John Lancaster Spalding

They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.
Benjamin Franklin, 1775

"A free people ought not only to be armed, but disciplined; to which end a uniform and well-digested plan is requisite; and their safety and interest require that they should promote such manufactories as tend to render them independent of others for essential, particularly military, supplies."  George Washington 1790

“[T]o preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms, and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them…”

Would you like to attend the rim fire known distance (KD) shoot in Boulder in 10 days? (It's still a go pending approval from the range) If you've been to a regular Appleseed and remember most of the foundational skills of position/firing the shot/NPOA you are ready to go - sign-up! (space may be limited to comply with COVID-19 government restrictions) If you haven't yet attended an Appleseed or it was so long ago you don't remember anything (or you'd just like to knock the rust off), do not fear! You have an opportunity, this weekend, to attend a regular two-day rifle clinic up in Cheyenne - only a couple of hours away. After completing that event, you would be primed and ready for the KD in Boulder. Two Appleseeds in two weekends! What a great chance to take your marksmanship skills to the next level. Get out of the house, get behind that rifle and hear about the start of our nations battle for liberty!

Hope to see many Coloradans at both events!
