We see a number of threats to Liberty today.  The specifics of these we often refer to as icebergs... because we should be focused on bailing rather than fretting over how our ship's hull was compromised.  But it's good to see the victories when they happen.

If you need something uplifting to read this evening before Easter, here is an iceberg where a Judge stepped in and said no because "Liberty".

A Louisville church filed for an injunction for relief from the Mayor's command to not worship in drive-in services for Easter tomorrow.  The Judge granted the temporary restraining order, citing Liberty and our Founders.

An excerpt:    This state of affairs has severe implications for religious Americans, because "freedom means that all persons have the right to believe or strive to believe in a divine creator and a divine law."   But its importance extends beyond the liberty to worship. It threatens liberty of all kinds.  That's because, as de Tocqueville wrote, "religion, which among the Americans never directly takes part in the government of society, must be considered as the first of their political institutions; for if it does not give them the taste for liberty, it singularly facilitates use of it."

Regardless of your faith or choice not to have one, I wish each of you a Blessed Easter.

Thank you for posting. It is reassuring to hear that a voice of reason does exist.
