Get on the fast track to becoming an Appleseed Instructor! Appleseeders in the Front Range have a tremendous opportunity this year. Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico are all planning to have an Instructor Boot Camp (IBC) in May/June.

Colorado - Not on the schedule yet, but rumor is there will be an IBC the first weekend in May
New Mexico - Just scheduled, IBC in Albuquerque May 30-31
Wyoming - IBC June 6-7 in Douglas*

The IBC in Douglas is followed by a full Rifleman's Boot Camp (RBC) during the week. This is typically the largest IBC/RBC west of the Mississippi and a great time to work on your shooting and learn how to teach both marksmanship and the history of April 19th, 1775.

Requirements: Normally, you are required to have attended at least two shoots and also earned your Rifleman's patch . . . however, if you've been to an event and really have a passion to play a bigger part, you will likely be welcomed by the shoot boss at your IBC. Don't be afraid to ask. The biggest requirement is the passion to teach and inspire.

Other instructors: It's been a while since you've done an Appleseed? Come knock the rust off, meet some new friends (and some old ones), and get back on the line!

Everyone else should come out and sharpen their skills for the busy Appleseed summer on the Front Range. Can't wait to see everyone.

I just wanted to keep this thread alive with all the cancellations happening. The IBC in NM is still happening, it's just moved a little south to Alamogordo. Lots of space available. BONUS BONUS BONUS!!! This IBC is being kicked off by a one-day pistol clinic on Friday! This is the first opportunity to see this new program in the Front Range. Come see Appleseed's latest offering and stay for the IBC.

And what about Wyoming!!?? The events to the north are actually taking place! And there's plenty of room for more shooters/instructors. The big Douglas, WY trifecta is just around the corner - IBC, RBC, regular Appleseed. Get signed up for one or all of those events. I already know at least two Colorado folks who are doing ALL THREE!
