We had another great Sea Cadet Appleseed at Ramseur, with 33 shooters from the Raleigh, Charlotte, and Greensboro units. There was a mix of new and returning cadets. A number of the returning cadets are also IITs, and they did a super job helping the newer shooters. As a result, the cadets all made tremendous progress.
We had one new rifleman, along with several re-qualifications (including a 249 by Laertes). The Sea Cadets made the most of their time at Ramseur, camping and enjoying time around the camp fire.
We had a terrific crew, and my thanks go out to Rimbo, Henry Foxall, Mother Batherick, Vaportrace, and RMack, along with the Sea Cadets who jumped in to clear the line, model for demos, and give individual instruction.
