This was a fine weekend with regards to weather and quality of Appleseed students.  We had 17 people on the line on Saturday. They brought very teachable attitudes. They took instruction well and the instructors observed several epiphanies as students worked through their challenges and started obtaining the groups they were looking for.

Sunday afternoon things really started to fall into place - three shooters shot rifleman scores. Two of them were requalifications (a father and son team) while the son (from a different father-son team) earned "Rifleman", thus giving his father the motivation to return and catch up!  It was a great shoot and several people were able to go up to the KD range on Sunday to shoot steel and qualify at known distance.

We had a strong instructor group. Santander and I split shoot boss duties. Moylan and Rimbo kept things moving smoothly. Little Zody, R-Mack, and Horse Soldier were very active as IITs.  R-Mack did a great job calling the line most of Sunday and Little Zody provided a lot of instruction on Saturday.

So, Bill, after repeated, failed, attempts at reshooting Rifleman last March at Ramseur, I managed a 216 a couple of weeks ago up in North Dakota. With of all things, a bolt action.  ???
