Septembers in California, especially Sacramento area, can be interesting weather wise...This on was no different.  Saturday was nearly 100 with little or no breeze to help out.  Sunday was very nice, if a bit on the breezy side.  The weather didn't seem to bother the 20 students we had come out to our event.

We started Saturday off with the safety briefing, getting everyone in a safe frame of mine.

Then is was the Red Coat and turning on the fire hose.

This was a very focused group who worked hard to put what we taught into pracitce.

A break for lunch and some history, then back on the line.

An afternoon Red Coat rounded out the afternoon.

We closed the toasty day with the third strike and handing out of the Young Patriots award to our two youth.  Very amazing young men who worked hard.

Sunday saw a return of everyone from Saturday!  You guys are awesome.

We did a review of what we had taught on Saturday, stopped for lunch and some Dangerous Old Men and Determined Dames.  Back to the line for some AQT's!

Again, this was a very focused group of students.  Before long we had our first Rifleman, Ben shot a very nice 230!  His first Appleseed!!

Josh followed with a 214.  Then a 218, followed by a 216!!

Great job guys!

We ended the day with the Red Coat, awarding of the patches and cleaned up.  Putting another wonderful and amazing Appleseed in the books.

Thank you all for coming out.  Hope to see you in the future.

Thank you for staying and helping with cleaning up.  Many hands do make the job easier.

A big thanks to the instructors who came out.  I certainly couldn't do this with out you.
