600 yard KD at Vets Shooting Center
« on: July 25, 2019, 08:34:51 PM »
Since the spring, we have been shooting the new electronic targets, set up for High Power and even KD Appleseed. We have been shooting once a week, usually on Thursdays. We shoot the NRA High Power 600 yard target for Mid Range Prone(MRP) and also Across the Course(XTC), which is very similar to shooting the KD AQT. We also have shot a few KD AQT's, the last being on 4 July.

Today, we shot 600 yards only, in the MRP format. I shot my match LRB M14SA, ammo, 168 SMK's. Scores were good, even fighting some strange wind! The other Rifleman shot some good scores as well with various different rifles.

We usually wait for the range owners to decide what discipline of fire we will shoot from one week to the next, hopefully we will shoot
a KD AQT next week!

As usual, if you find yourself in our AO and want to shoot with some seasoned Riflemen, give us a shout, we'll likely saddle up and meet you at the range!

Quinncannon, out.
