Prompted by Mike's posting about insurance: in case people were unaware, this is shaping up to be an ugly year for firearms legislation in WA. If you're not keeping track of changes via other forums, the WA_guns subreddit has a good list, updated weekly. https://old.reddit.com/r/WA_guns/comments/amzf80/2019_legislative_update_week_3/

Either a 10 or 15 round mag ban looks likely for this year: SB 5062 and HB 1068 have passed committee. HB 1346 would make it illegal to sell lead-projectile ammo to anyone under 21, under the guise of "lead safety" for children. Both of these would have an immediate effect on Appleseeders, and they're the tip of the iceberg.

Looking bad for Illinois also.  They have a super majority.  California "assault weapon" type legislation has be submitted and will likely pass.  Its going to be a rough year for everyone.

"The cost of a thing is the amount of life required to be exchanged for it, immediately or in the long run. When one has obtained those essentials necessary for well-being â€" food, shelter, warmth, and clothing, there is an alternative to struggling through steel jungles for the luxuries. That's to adventure on life itself, one's vacation from humble toil having commenced." -Townsend Whelen

Sorry to hear that! We got hit with their annual AWB proposal, but my understanding it's DOA because it touches law that was just rewritten by I-1639. Since both houses are now controlled by a single party as of last election, they have a good chance at passing an AWB next year. I've been emailing legislators, but it feels about as useful as voting.
