With clear skies and mid fifties temperatures, our seventeen shooters of all skill levels made for a cozy line on Saturday at this Patriot's Day shoot. Everybody showed improvement in their marksmanship in the face of their neighbors hot brass and the wind disturbing the target line.

Sunday came with the same fine weather and ten eager shooters who were happy to push through the targets continuously blowing in the wind and run AQTs right up until they ran out of ammo and beyond. By the end of the day our numbers had dwindled to six tired shooters, but their final redcoat tally went up from the morning!

Four Riflemen were made - David P, David R, Dave re-qualifying after a decade's vacation, and Andrew hitting Distinguished with iron sights at 232. Excellent shooting.

A special thanks to the wives who either participated or allowed their husband's attendance from as far away as New York with Mother's Day looming in the coming weeks.

JackOfAllTrades deserves special commendation as well, for taking charge of setting up the range and bringing Ethan as a guest, who shot into the 200's. He performed well above the expectations of an IIT.

I hope to see everyone on the line again for another successful event. Thank you all for coming out on Patriot's Day weekend.
