We had three Patriots turn out for the weekend's event and endure the heat of Middle Georgia to learn about Liberty, their unique heritage, and rifle marksmanship. Everyone's marksmanship rapidly improved in prone position with just five strings. Then we moved to sitting/kneeling and standing positions, shot an AQT and called it a day. Breaks from the heat were welcomed and we used the breaks to tell the story of April 19, 1775, honoring our forefathers and mothers and recognizing their sacrifices.

We reviewed Saturday's information on marksmanship Sunday morning and then got to work on the range with more squares, AQTs, and drills. Dr. John presented the philosophy of Liberty from the forefathers' perspective. We also heard stories of individuals who made a difference. We finished off the day with a known distance presentation and then stepped back to 100 yards to put it into practice on paper and steel.

Thanks to our three shooters for their attentiveness, engagement, and teachable attitudes. We hope to see you all on the line again soon! Remember to use the handouts to review and please pass them along.
