7 shooters came out and enjoyed the fine Montana weather (sun, wind, clouds, clear, rain, hail, hot and cold, and that was just saturday) and accounted especially well for themselves, displaying both a tremendous improvement in skill with their rifles, and a hearty embrace of the history of our founding.
Special thanks to the Eureka crew who made the drive for Saturday only and would have a few Riflemen to show for it if only for a few more AQTs. We definitely need to get a shoot in your neck of the woods.
Many thanks to Keythe who came out and volunteered to help things run smoothly; it was a huge help knowing there was another experienced hand on the line to help keep an eye on things.
Travis and son stuck with it and both showed great improvement in spite of equipment issues, Travis getting close, with a 202 at one point.
Lastly, a big Huzah to Kim, who came out as a self described newbie and went from not knowing how to shoulder the rifle on saturday morning, to turning in a 195 on sunday afternoon!
Thanks to all who came for the inspiring discussion and dedication to the mission; ya'll are what keep this shoot boss going!
