Kearneysville, WV April 1 (1 Day Event)

A total of 8 shooters came out to learn more about Marksmanship and American History on a overcast, wet and soggy day in Kearneysville, WV.   The first event of the year at Leetown Gun Club.   

Saturday (1 Day event), we started slowly as many of the shooters were challenged with equipment related issues but once we got this sorted out the shooters were eager to learn and get lead down range.

All shooters put forth a solid effort all day.  Joshua Z. earned his Maryland Front Sight Patch cleaning the Red Coats first thing in the morning and later achieved rifleman.  Jonathan A. achieved rifleman with a solid 219.  We had a couple of shooters that were knocking on the door and we expect to see all of these first time Appleseeders again.

ColdWarrior delivered the 3 strikes and students were attentive to the stories and instruction throughout the day.  Excellent group and I'm positive that we will see many of these fine Mountaineers again.  We celebrated Patriots Day with a noon Volley to honor our forefathers who took a chance and delivered.   

Maryland Instructor Team, you guys did an outstanding job all day working with the students!  Thank you Coldwarrior, Double A Ron and Aninha for your continued support and instruction.  Everyone had an enjoyable experience and most importantly a safe weekend.  Thank you Leetown Gun Club we really appreciate your support of Project Appleseed.
