We need volunteers in sales, marketing, PR, IT, and general "running of an organization."
Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots
on the firing line!  An hour of time spent at this level can have the impact of ten or a
hundred hours on the firing line.  Want to help? Send a PM to Monkey!

This was a great Appleseed! It was very hot and muggy the first day, but was overcast and cooler the second. Most participants came right at 8:30am on day 1, so we got a little late start, but we were able to stay on schedule and actually catch up! We were able to perform 2 AQT's and had 2 riflemen on Saturday. John M 227 and Karl S. 218. We had 20 Shooters and 4 Instructors on Saturday. The Instructors did a great job!

Sunday we had 12 shooters on the line with Carmen joining us for day 2. She was coming with Federico to watch and with a little encouragement, she joined us on the line for the entire day. Our Instructor Neil, spent some 1:1 time with her early to get her up to speed but she was quickly on her own doing great! We had 7 more riflemen on day 2. Jake L. 215, Federico 221, Michael R 223, Karin W 212, Matt W 211, Tom D 222 and Cheryl H. was welcomed with some really cold North Bridge water for her 210. Great job to all the shooters! They were very engaged with the instruction and performed very well!

Pictures coming soon! Post some if you have them

KARDIAK KID

GREAT JOB INSTRUCTORS AND SHOOTERS!!
Dusty old helmet, rusty old gun,
They sit in the corner and wait –
Two souvenirs of the Second World War
That have withstood the time, and the hate.
Many times I've wanted to ask them –
And now that we're here all alone,
Relics all three of a long ago war –
Where has freedom gone?
Mute witness to a time of much trouble,
Where kill or be killed was the law –
Were these implements used with high honor?
What was the glory they saw?
Freedom flies in your heart like an eagle.
Let it soar with the winds high above
Among the spirits of soldiers now sleeping,
Guard it with care and with love.
I salute my old friends in the corner.
I agree with all they have said –
And if the moment of truth comes tomorrow,
I'll be free, or By God, I'll be dead!
Audie Murphy
