Period Dress Event?
« on: January 27, 2016, 08:26:32 AM »
I'm very tempted to show up in period dress for an event or 5 but, it would have to be a bit of a cross over because I don't own a period rifle (yet).

The thought of going to an event in a colonial outfit while wielding an ar15-22.... throws a strange look in my head.
Are you a rifleman, or a cook?

I think the symbolism is apt - our forefathers won their liberty using state-of-the-art weaponry of their time.

This does make me think that we should really promote the "Period Dress" aspect for events close to April 19.
