4 of us went down to Myakka just over a week ago and shot the CMP match. (Charlie, Mark & Rich got me off my butt for the day to go down and shoot) It would be awesome to get even more of us down there sometime. Garands, service rifle, vintage military, even M4s are allowed. But if you want to be cool like the rest of us, bring a Garand.  :---
Looks like the next match is August 9. Only 15 bucks, 50+ rounds of ammo and a rifle sighted in at 200 yards.

Any excuse to shoot the Garand is a good one. We have monthly (first Saturday morning) 35 round vintage military rifle matches here at PMRPC in Palm Bay. It isn't a CMP sanctioned match but we have fun.
