Yes it does. Stages 2 & 3 are timed.

My name is JoeZ and I will be the Shoot Boss for the upcoming known distance (KD) shoot in Racine WI.

Just a friendly reminder here, the KD shoot requires a centerfire rifle and probably 250 rounds of ammunition.  Also, please bring things you would normally bring to an Appleseed. Other helpful items may include a pack for your gear as the parkinglot is pretty far away, pencil/pen, and a clipboard.

Also, all shooters will be engaging targets as far as 500 yds and some shooters groups get pretty large out there so if that's going to be you, bring something to rest or stablize your rifle on like a pack, bipod, or shooting bags.

The rough POI is as follows; starting at 9:00 am.

Founder's Minute; spoken directly to the instructors but included as an audience the shooters.

Safety briefing; regular stuff plus additional considerations for KD.

25m sighters; begin fill out rifle worksheet and calculate sight height over bore/near zero hold to achieve a 200 yard zero on all rifles.

200 yard; move from 25m pistol range to the 200 yard line on the military range. Two groups of 5 round sighters on 100 yard AQT target (3.33 moa). Pit crew will record group center and send info to firing line.

300 yard; move back to 300 while pit crew changes to repair center D target. Fire stage 3 twice. Pit crew will witness on classification targets(Green Coat).

400 yard; move back to 400 and fire stage 4 twice. Pit crew will witness on classification targets.

Break for lunch, (I'm not real sure we'll be this far at lunch) History of the RWVA.

Classroom time; explain press check,explain field considerations, explain planning the shot using TOR acronym and executing the shot using WTF acronym.

Move to 500; load & press check, WOR and WTF with 10 rnds twice. Pit crew will witness on classification.

At 500 finish day vs steel targets.

Sun start at 200 and repeat.
