Another successful weekend at one of the finest  ranges I have been to here in southern California with expansive views of the canyons high above Santa Barbara . Ten fine Americans braved the heat and did a wonderful job of absorbing both the marksmanship and the history bestowed upon them over the weekend while the hot sun belted down . It was hot , it was dusty but we got down and scores improved exponentially over the two days .

Returning shooter LeeWhay , who admirably tried so hard with a new scope on her 10/22 , was turning out some great groups while shooting the squares and performed great with the first few AQT's . Keep at it ..It's always great having you on theline and thanks so much for both pitching in AND bringing some guests with you  O0

We also saw the return of Mark and Angel and new shooter Brian (Marks brother ) . Angel had a better time with a .22lr and was doing some great work the first day . We really missed you on Sunday . Both Mark and Brian ( The Murphy Bros ) inspired me to tell tales of yet another Murphy , Timothy Murphy . Thanks guys for being there and hanging in with us .

First timer Burcu showed up and after getting rid of  some ghosts in her scope , managed to pull off off some outstanding groups on Sunday . I hope to see both you and Adam back again . It was great hanging with you both on Saturday night . Have a safe trip home !!!!

Robert and William both did some fine shooting on Day one and we missed you guys on Sunday . Hope to see you soon .

First time shooter Davis came out the gate blasting away at the squares and took to the instruction like a duck to water . Keep at it and I see a riflemans patch in your future .

Shooter Peter , a first time appleseed attendee , but not new to the shooting world really had a great attitude to our teachings and lessons . An avid 3 gunner , he took to the instruction with an open mind and showed a great deal of humility throughout the weekend . Thanks for giving our program a chance and I hope to see each and everyone of you back on our lines soon .

Thanks also to Paul 12h and GFresh for amazing delivery on the 2nd and 3rd strikes and to Tom for bringing great balance to the shoot !!!
