Draft 2015 schedule for Nampa

We haven't run this past the NRAGC board yet, but they requested we make our schedule wishes known sooner than later.  Putting this out so others can see where we are headed.

4/25-26/15  - 25m Appleseed  (alternate 4/18-19)
5/30-31/15  - KD Appleseed (300 yd)  Previous AS shooters only
6/20-21/15 - 25m Appleseed (alternate 6/27-28; follows CHOIS conference)
8/29-30/15 - 25m Appleseed
10/31 - 11/1/15 - KD Appleseed (300 yd) Previous AS shooters only

Alternate dates are in case we can't get the primary due to schedule conflicts.

KD will be new on this range; we have 100, 200, and 300 firing lines with a pit.  We'll be making scaled targets for stage 4 (scoob has access to large format printers).

There will almost certainly be a one-day semi-official KD trial run sometime later this fall or early next spring, since my experience has been you need to work out the logistical bugs in advance, or the time monkey will eat your face when you try to do it for real.  This will probably be an invite-only session for instructors and local Rifleman.  Anyone from beyond the Treasure Valley who might be interested in this or shooting/instructing the KD sessions, let me know and I'll put you on my notification list.

DRRC will be doing a KD clinic weekend Mar 21 & 22 (Saturday will be limited to 200y, Sunday will be 400y). There will also be a 1/2 day full distance AQT qualifier Thursday July 16th.

Clearly not a conflict with what you have going on in Nampa but thought it was worth mentioning.

Just got back from the NRGC board meeting and we got all the dates we asked for, so I'll get those on the schedule.

When spring gets closer, we'll be seeing about lining up a day (may be on a Friday) for a dress rehearsal on the KD, to which we'll invite instructors, local riflemen, and select club members.  Won't be an official event, but should be fun.
